 Silica bricks consist of > 90 percent by weight of SiO2. In general, the SiO2 content is 95 to 97% weight.

high dense acid resistance silica refractory brick with a SiO2 content of ≥ 95 % are manufactured from selected pure, well washed, crushed and carefully mixed quartz raw materials. These materials are obtained mainly from our own quarzite deposits.

The operating equipment and the operating procedures guarantee manufacture of silica bricks with excellent stability, defined mineralogical compositon and high stability under high temperature and pressure stresses. The main areas of use for silica bricks are coke oven plants (oven floor, heating wall, oven roof and the upper regenerator layers), the superstructure of glass melters (and where required also in the upper structure of the regenerator) and  in the high temperature areas of hot blast stoves.

Brick types for particularly high demands in glass melters are manufactured by carefully selected offset components and special manufacturing processes. Low flux silica bricks, low lime bricks and lime free bricks form part of this category.

Silica brick belongs to the acid refractory material, with good acid slag erosion resistance, refractoriness under load is as high as 1640 ~ 1670 ℃, long-term use of volume is stable at high temperatures.Silica brick is mainly composed of scale quartz, square quartz and a small amount of residual quartz and glass phase of acid refractory.

Lightweight thermal insulation silicon bricks are mainly used in glass industry furnaces and coke ovens and other acid kiln insulation materials.

The silicon bricks used in the hot air furnace have the characteristics of low hot-wire expansion rate, low residual quartz content, low true density and high load softening point.It is mainly used in blast furnace top, upper furnace body and upper grid etc.

Product features:

(1) high softening temperature under load.The coke oven silicon brick can bear the dynamic load of the coal car on the top of the oven at high temperature and can be used for a long time without deformation.

(2) high thermal conductivity.Coke is made from coking coal in the coking chamber by heating through the wall of the combustor.In the temperature range of coke oven combustion chamber, the thermal conductivity of silicon brick is higher than that of clay brick and high aluminum brick.The thermal conductivity of compact coke oven silicon brick can be increased by 10% ~ 20% compared with that of ordinary coke oven silicon brick.

(3) good thermal shock resistance at high temperature.The temperature of the silicon bricks on both sides of the combustion chamber wall changes dramatically due to the periodic coal loading and coke discharging of coke oven.Normal operating temperature fluctuation range does not cause serious crack and spalling, silica brick for above 600 ℃, coke oven silica brick has good thermal shock resistance;
